Symptoms
During the upgrade process from 11.1.1.8.0 to 12.2.1.1.0 at Section 6.2.9 Upgrading the Configuration using the Upgrade Assistant, http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12211/lcm/WCCUP/GUID-27F60AFC-E814-4DFF-B595-1A3598803B0B.htm#WCCUP-GUID-F5B7393B-0845-4BC1-8853-880F6EDA72E0 the upgrade will not proceed if the following error occurs:
UPGAST-00246: The selected domain has a version of 10.3.6.0 which is less than the minimum of 12.2.1.1.0.
Cause: Upgrade requires the domain to be at a certain minimum version, which this domain does not meet.
Action: Select a different domain, or run the Reconfiguration tool before trying to upgrade.
