Not Able To Terminate Orphan Role In Oracle User Account. (Doc ID 2159187.1)

Symptoms

A customer has one user account where in the role is assigned but there is no responsibility attached to role. When trying to end date this role assignment through UAM portal we are not successful, and there is no error.

Attempts to end date this role assignment through back end update using below statement results in an error

update APPS.FND_USER_RESP_GROUPS set END_DATE = (sysdate-3) WHERE USER_ID = <USERID> AND RESPONSIBILITY_ID = <RESPONSIBLITY_ID>;

SQL Error: ORA-01733: virtual column not allowed here
01733. 00000 - "virtual column not allowed here"
