Symptoms

After installing a new Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g with Directory Integration Platform (DIP) that uses the same schema/database (DB) as the previous one for High Availability (HA), DIP fails to start with the following error message in the WebLogic (WLS) Managed Server:
