Goal

Our business process requires that we build a WebLogic domain containing only Enterprise Capture with Windows as the Operating System. The customer wishes to use SQL server for the database. The WebCenter Content compatibility Matrix Exception column says:

"4. For WebCenter Enterprise Capture, Oracle DB or Oracle Internet Directory (OID) is required to manage the OPSS policy store in a production environment."

Can you please explain in more detail what this means and what are the implications for connecting the WebLogic server to an authentication provider?
