OUD 11g R2 PS3 (11.1.2.3.x): Attribute Subtype (Attribute Option) is Lost If the Attribute is Encrypted (Doc ID 2163378.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) 11g R2 PS3 (11.1.2.3.x), the attribute subtype (attribute option) is lost if the attribute is encrypted.

For example, the following entry is created. The attribute "sn" is encrypted.

LDIF Data for New Entry:

The issue occurs in OUD version 11.1.2.3.0, 11.1.2.3.1 and 11.1.2.3.160419.
The issue is NOT reproduced in OUD version 11.1.2.2.x.

Changes

The issue occurs when meeting the following conditions:

- Create an entry that has an attribute that has one or more subtypes, or Add (modify) an attribute which has one or more subtypes.
E.g.) sn;lang-ja;dynamic

and

- The attribute is encrypted.
