SOA 22.214.171.124 BPEL process is timing out on a remote EJB invocation when using GridLink and Local Optimization
Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2017
Applies to:Oracle SOA Suite - Version 126.96.36.199.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The flow contains a composite that locally invokes a second composite that then invokes a remote EJB through a Spring component.
After enabling GridLink per the documentation, the EJB invocation is timing out, causing the composite instances to fail.
If Local Optimization of the second composite invocation is disabled, then the process works as expected, or if the Data Source is not GridLink it will also complete.
The SOA composites were running on 188.8.131.52 while the remote EJB was hosted on WLS 10.3.4.
