(Doc ID 2167585.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Access Portal - Version 11.1.2.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Access Portal Web Logon Manager v11.1.2.3.0

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The Access Portal Service FormFill functionality fails to submit user credentials for a web application.

The problem is that the login page uses javascript instead of standard frames to incorporate other pages (it is not a standard iframe either). The javascript trace indicates that columbiaWeb.js failed to locate the input fields.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The new FormFill technology incorporated into the Access Portal Service is expected to automatically inject the user credentials into the application predefined with a template via ESSO or Web Logon Manager.

STEPS

  1. Create an application template for the target application and publish to the repository.
  2. Define the user credentials for the application in the Web Logon Manager dashboard.
  3. Access the application via the Web Logon Manager in the Access Portal Service

Changes

The web application template originally created in the legacy ESSO administrative console was updated using the OAM console then published back to the repository.
