Symptoms
On : 11.1.1.8.0 version, WebCenter Sites
Production Community widgets (e.g. the Poll Widget) are failing and not accessible over internet as one of the dependent javascript url requests is pointing to the internal CommunityGadgets host.
e.g.
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
http://{hostname:port}/cg/wsdk/polls/api/load.js?poll_id=143159...true&cosrestcallback=wsdk.net.jsonp.getCallbackById('jsonp_id_75977')
