Symptoms
opam.sh returns "Provided URL is not a valid OPAM Server URL" for a valid URL when running simple commands such as the getserverstatus command.
export ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle/middleware/Oracle_IDM1
cd $ORACLE_HOME/opam/bin
./opam.sh -x getserverstatus -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -url https://HOSTNAME:PORT/opam
However, this returns the following output:
Using OPAM Server URL: https://HOSTNAME:PORT/opam
The server url is confirmed resolvable to an IP address and up, and the same connection information works in the OPAM console web page for server connection. The IP address can also be pinged, and connection to port 18102 with a telnet client is successful, confirming the port is not blocked.
