Goal

Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Monitor Agent 12.2.1 is a java agent that provides monitoring and management functionality to GoldenGate "core" installations.

The following products use and connect to GoldenGate "instances" using OGG Monitor Agent 12.2.1

- Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/13c using OGG plugins for OEM
- OGG Monitor Server
- Oracle GoldenGate Studio
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c


This document and the attached video recording/demo shows the basic steps needed to

- Install OGG Monitor Agent 12.2.1
- Add OGG Monitor Agent 12.2.1 "instance" associated to GoldenGate "core" instance
- Configure OGG Monitor Agent instance (Config.properties)
- Enable "monitoring" in GoldenGate side and start up OGG Monitor Agent 12.2.1 (jagent) instance
