You have configured a scheduled job to run daily, and configured it as a cron job. But you observe that after a period of time, the job is not running as expected. For example:
- You configure the job on 7 July, and specify that it is to run daily and you set Days between runs to '1'. After 31 July, you see that the job is not running. When you check the scheduled job on the Admin console, you see that the Next Scheduled Run is shifted to 7 August - in other words, it has skipped 7 days.
- You configure the job to run every Monday at 11:30 pm. But you observe that instead of running weekly, it is running the 7th day of every month.
In both case, if you check the cron expression, you find that it is in error. So in the first example above, you expect that the stored cron expression should be "*/N" but OIM is setting it to "7/N" where N is the number specified for Days between runs.
