GoldenGate Informix Extract Not Capturing Some Inserts Which Were Committed (Doc ID 2173775.1)

Symptoms

We have discovered that some(but not all) inserts which are committed on Informix
are NOT being captured by GoldenGate.
This was noticed when numerous (captured) updates were failing on the Target apply
with "key not found".
Indeed for these rows, we have verified they were successfully inserted into Informix,
but they do not appear in the GG extract trailfile.
Interestingly, some of these "missing" rows are part of a parent child relationship
on the Source DB, and the child is being successfully captured and replicated!
NO errors appear in the ggserr.log, nor the extract reportfile, nor the mgr reportfile.
