Information in this document applies to any platform.
Log rotation should happen when the the defined limit is reached; but in this case, the access.log file is not rotating and the file exceeds the limit defined.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. From console access
Environment -> Servers -> myServer(Admin) -> Logging -> HTTP
2. Rotation Type -> By Size, Rotation File Size -> 5 (5 KB for easy reproduction)
3. Access a deployment using the URL multiple times
4. Stop the server. You will see that the access log is greater than 5KB and is never rotated
