Apache 2.2 WebGate 10.1.4.3 for HP-UX Itanium No Longer can Connect to OAM Server(s) After Changing "AAA Timeout Threshold" to More Than 1 (Doc ID 2174404.1)

Symptoms

Apache 2.2 WebGate 10.1.4.3 for HP-UX Itanium is installed and working.
If the "AAA Timeout Threshold" which is one of WebGate Agent parameters is changed to more than 1, the WebGate no longer can connect to Oracle Access Manager (OAM) server(s) correctly.

After changing "AAA Timeout Threshold", the following error message occurs when accessing the web sites protected by WebGate.

URL Example: http://{WebServer_Hostname}/oberr.cgi?status%3D500%20errmsg%3DErrEngineDown
Browser Screen Message: Oracle Access Manager Operation Error

Also the following messages continuously appear in WebGate log file (oblog.log). Involving "Return Code^22" is one of the characteristic of this log messages.

Changes

It is reported that the issue occurs under the conditions.

- Using Apache 2.2 WebGate 10.1.4.3 for HP-UX Itanium.
  And
- Changing "AAA Timeout Threshold" to more than 1. (The default value is -1)

The issue is not reproduced in Apache 2.2 WebGate 10.1.4.3 for Linux x86-64.
