Symptoms
On WLS 12.2.1, ZDT is not working as intended even when the ZDT guidelines are followed as per documentation. When you click to update the JVM in the WLS Console, you are presented with a Null Pointer Exception (NPE). WLST rolloutJavaHome can be used to reproduce NullPointerException and the complete stack trace is as follows:
