Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Middleware - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Oracle HTTP Server - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it possible to create an environment consisting of Oracle HTTP Server(OHS) and Fusion Middleware Control(FMWc) without maintaining a Database with RCU Schemas?

Yes, starting with 12.2.1.0+ this install is classified as a Collocated Restricted JRF deployment. Restricted JRF allows you to have OHS managed by Fusion Middleware Control without the requirement for a database and schemas. By contrast, a standalone OHS deployment does not include Fusion Middleware Control and a Full JRF deployment requires a database. The main benefit here is that you do not have to maintain a database yet still have access to FMWc and its management functionality. Currently this functionality is only available with the OHS product.
