Symptoms
Regarding WebLogic 12c JTA Transaction Timeout Configuration in a cluster vs domain transaction timeouts, the Oracle documentation indicates that the cluster JTA transaction timeout should supersede the domain JTA transaction timeout.
After several tests it was confirmed WebLogic does not to honor the cluster timeout, it always honors the domain timeout, which is contrary to the documentation.
