Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The purpose of this document is to illustrate an example scenario in which multiple delimited parser schemas can be used for different types of delimited EDI data. In this example a "Japan" parser is used to parse EDI data that is delimited with a "tab" character -- 0x09 -- and identified by the value "01" at start position 2 (end position 3). Another parser "EFSShipmentData" is used for EDI data that is delimited by a "pipe" character -- 0x7C -- and is identified by the value "US" at start position 2 (end position 3). The data comes in via files with the following filename format:

%FROM_PARTY%_%TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%.txt
