Purpose

In addition to the information provided in our online documentation - 13.1 Switching to Authentication Against an LDAP Directory, this document provides a bit more information on the properties changed by the LDAP Configurator, and a list of items to review after running the LDAP Configurator.

Scope

This document is intended for general LDAP Integration; it's not for a specific LDAP server. However, in the screen shots referenced by this document we will be using Active Directory as an example.

Also, this document assumes that the Sites instance in question has not been configured for LDAP Integration.
