Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.9.8 to 11.1.1.9.8 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Kerberos SSO was working correctly on Oracle WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.9 until the following patch was applied: <patch 21950042> WebCenter Portal Bundle Patch 11.1.1.9.8(ID:151005.2311).

After this patch was applied, SSO authentication stopped working.

This issue is only with WebCenter Portal as SSO works fine with WebCenter Content in the same domain.

In the WC_Spaces.log, the following error is seen :

<Warning> <oracle.webcenter.community.internal.view.shell.GroupSpaceShellHandler> <BEA-000000> <Current User does not have permission to access the <portal_name>>
