Kerberos SSO Fails to Work After Patching WebCenter Portal

Kerberos SSO was working correctly on Oracle WebCenter Portal 184.108.40.206 until the following patch was applied: <patch 21950042> WebCenter Portal Bundle Patch 220.127.116.11.8(ID:151005.2311).
After this patch was applied, SSO authentication stopped working.
This issue is only with WebCenter Portal as SSO works fine with WebCenter Content in the same domain.
In the WC_Spaces.log, the following error is seen :
