After Service Bus Installation Completes, are 32bit OS Packages Needed in 64bit Linux? (Doc ID 2190880.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Service Bus - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

- libXext for i386
- libXtst for i386
- libXi for i386

Above packages are guided as required packages in the document "Oracle® Fusion Middleware System Requirements and Specifications 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)"
http://docs.oracle.com/html/E18558_01/fusion_requirements.htm#BABJBCAI

But in 64bit Linux environment, the installation of Oracle Service Bus(OSB) 11g 11.1.1.9 succeeded without 32bit packages.
This environment has following packages for 64bit, not for 32bit.

- libXext for X86-64
- libXtst for X86-64
- libXi for X86-64

In this environment, must these packages be replaced from x86_64 to i386 ?
