OUD - Navigation to New OUD Instance Home in OEM Console Fails with "No current meta-data is available for the requested target <hostname> oracle_oud_directory .." (Doc ID 2192903.1)

Goal

The issue has been reported for the following setups:

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM or EM) version: 12c / 13c
Agent version: 12c / 13c
Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) Plugin version: 12 / 13
OUD version: 11g / 12c

EM Plug-in for Oracle Unified Directory cannot get meta-data of OUD target.

New OUD target is successfully added to OEM. OUD metrics seem to be collected, however, navigating to the OUD target's home in the OEM console can report either of the following errors:

An error occurred calling the metric data service. No current meta-data is available for the requested target <hostname> oracle_oud_directory for the specified metric Connections. Verify that the target has been fully discovered and that the target properties are correct. on UI item [object HTMLDivElement][id:dshlcconnPerSecImpl] on page PageActivityDef[dshomePg]

 

"No current meta-data is available for the requested target <OUD> for the specified metric connections. Verify that the target has been fully discovered and that the target properties are correct."

Reports of some of the sections being empty have also been reported for the OEM OUD homepage in the Performance Overview and Show Operations Completed History(Last 24hrs).  Other sections on the homepage may appear empty as well.
