SOA Replay Instance Functionality Does Not Change Flow State

(Doc ID 2192993.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 19, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Issue Clarification -
While recovering a fault using "Replay" action on instance which ran into fault, user is able to successfully get the fault instance recovered, however the EM Console label still shows Recovery status as "Recovery Required".
This is misleading and causes a false alarm as the instance was successfully recovered. Below example shows screenshots of discrepancy observed.

1. A BPEL process which ran into fault awaiting recovery.

2. Click Recover Required -> More Recovery Options

3.  Use Replay option passing corrective input data.

4. Displays contradicting status in flow trace.
