Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 64-bit Tuxedo 12.2.2 version, no rolling patch installed

When attempting to boot a large Tuxedo MP ubb configuration, with SSL set in the ubb configuration OPTIONS parameter, the following error occurs on the slave machine's Tuxedo tlisten generic listener process.

072626.tuxslavemachine!tlisten.12559.1.-2: CMDTUX_CAT:604: ERROR: Could not decode request message

Note: The failure above is logged in the ULOG of the slave machine.  To do this the Tuxedo tlisten process on the slave machine must be booted with the ULOGPFX environment variable set properly.

On the master machine the stdout output for the "tmboot -A" command includes:

Booting admin processes ...

exec DBBL -A :
on master -> process id=12345 ... Started.
exec BBL -A :
on master -> process id=12346 ... Started.
exec BBL -A :
on slave -> CMDTUX_CAT:814: ERROR: Cannot propagate TUXCONFIG file

tmboot: WARN: No BBL available on site slave.
Will not attempt to boot server processes on that site.

2 processes started.
