WinSCP is unable to upload files to MFT sFTP embedded server (Doc ID 2193554.1)

Symptoms

WinSCP is unable to upload files to the MFT sFTP Embedded server. This does not affect the FTP Embedded Server. Other FTP Clients (e.g. FileZilla are able to transfer to the sFTP server correctly).

The error below is seen in the WinSCP client

Connection has been unexpectedly closed.
Server sent command exit status 0.
Copying files to remote side failed.
