Symptoms
On 12.2.1.0.0 version, HTTP session is null after the first request is redirected. NullPointerException occurs when trying to access the session object in one of the servlet filters after the redirect response.
Changes
This is happening after upgrading to WLS 12.2 and JDK 8. Before upgrading applications were running under WLS 12.1.3 and JDK 7. Everything was working fine.
