Symptoms
After applying latest 12c Database Patch Set Update (PSU), e.g., 12.1.0.2.160719 Patch 23054246, ldapbinds to Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g SSL port fail:
Applying Patch 19285025 on top (reference Document 19285025.8) does not resolve the error.
The same ldapbind works when issued from the OVD server host command prompt itself to both OVD and also to the Oracle Internet Directory (OID) SSL ports.
The same ldapbind also works from the DB host to the OID SSL port.
It only fails from the DB host to the OVD SSL port.
