Canon Scanners Stop Scanning After a Few Pages When "Scan ahead" is Enabled in the Enterprise Capture Client (Doc ID 2195950.1)

Symptoms

When scanning in the Enterprise Capture dc-client using a Canon scanner, the scanner stops scanning after a few pages when "Scan ahead" is enabled.  If "Scan ahead" is disabled, the scanner will scan all of the pages, however the scanning speed will be significantly reduced.

Changes

Recently installed Capture 12c.
