Symptoms
On : 12.1.0.2.0 version, Thin JDBC driver
After the migration of 4-Node-RAC System from 11g (11.2.0.3) to 12c (12.1.0.2.0) some application servers using JDBC driver 12.1.0.2 encounter "ORA-12592: TNS:bad packet" errors at various states, which terminates the application flow. These same application servers were working fine on the RAC 11.2.0.3.0.
The problem occurs on JBoss application servers (version 4.3 EAP) running with third party libraries like Hibernate3 and Spring3.
