Symptoms

Integration Interfaces using analytic functions such as FIRST_VALUE, RANK, RN (ROW_NUMBER, ROWNUMBER), etc were successfully running in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g.

After upgrading to ODI 12.2.1..0.0, 12.2.1.1.0 or 12.2.1.2.0 Mappings, the generated code contains a GROUP BY, which is incorrect.

Note the behavior is also observed when smart exporting the Integration Interface from ODI 11g, and importing into ODI 12c.
