Some Searches Are Case Sensitive And Others Are Not in In Advanced Search UI.

Information in this document applies to any platform.
For certain out of the box attributes in Advanced Searches UI, the search is case sensitivity while for other attributes it's not. For example: In "request access for others" UI, when one put value in Organization that is lower case it will not work if that Organization name is in mixed case( both upper and lower case).
