Device detection fails in devices with screen resolution as the only devicegroup criteria (Doc ID 2197694.1)

Symptoms

A new device group is created with screen dimensions as the only device group criteria. Device group lists matching devices correctly and multi device preview picks right template based on screen dimension.

But device detection fails in actual devices. Device variable is returning null value irrespective of screen size. Due to this, incorrect template variants are picked for rendering in mobile devices.
