JSF Portlet with a Form Shows the Login Page inside the Portlet Area when the Session Expires if the Portlet is Consumed from a Custom Portal Application configured with OAM (Doc ID 2198969.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When having a JSF Portlet with a multipart/form-data in WebCenter Portal configured with OAM and the session expires, if you click submit in the multipart/form-data in the portlet you will see login page is rendered inside the portlet area.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see the login form in the complete portal (not inside the portlet area).

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 

  1. Create a JSF Portlet with a multipart/form-data.
  2. Register the producer with a WebCenter Portal Framework application.
  3. Add the portlet to a page.
  4. Wait for the session to expire.
  5. Click submit in the form in the portlet.
    Here you will see the login form inside the portlet area.
