Information in this document applies to any platform.
Periodically backend weblogic server has to be restarted. When this occurs the front end Oracle iPlanet Web Server which is using the Weblogic Plugin to forward requests hangs. The situation can only be recovered by restarting the web server.
A pstack taken when the problem is observed has many threads in this state.
The pstack outputs appear to show the Weblogic Plugin is deadlocked on a mutex.
