Symptoms

Bootstrap fails in a DIP Synchronization profile with the following error:

<MIDDLEWARE_HOME>/user_projects/domains/<DOMAIN>/bin> syncProfileBootstrap -h <WLS_HOSTNAME> -port <WLS_MANAGED_SERVER_PORT> -D <WLS_ADMIN_USER> -pf <PROFILE_NAME> -lp 12
[Weblogic user password]
Connection parameters initialized.
Connecting at <WLS_HOSTNAME>:<WLS_MANAGED_SERVER_PORT>, with userid "<WLS_ADMIN_USER>"..
Connected successfully.

java.lang.StackOverflowError incompatible with java.lang.Exception
