Last updated on NOVEMBER 28, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Java CAPS - Version 5.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 5.1.3 version, SQL Server Adapter

When Microsoft SQL table is queried with a SQL generated in JCAPS OTD, it throws error, but JCAPS is actually processing the message.
It can be confirmed that the column names of certain tables are duplicated in the Select portion of the statement.
This duplication is causing the error in the where clause of the statement on the order by column name. The otd has the "Use full path names in jcd" checked.

Why are the column names duplicated?

Ambiguous column name 'xxxxxxxxxxx'.

SELECT ABC, DEF, GHI, JKL, ABC, DEF, GHI, JKL, MNO, PQR, STU, MNO, PQR, STU WHERE ABC='xxxx';
