This article provides various options toward improving poor quality input document processing.
Due to poor image quality, the team is unable to read a large number of invoices scanned in from vendors. The documents appear gray with gray lettering that are very hard to distinguish. As a workaround, the team has been printing unreadable invoices to manually manipulate (darken with copier settings or trace with pen) and rescan back into the system.
