Information in this document applies to any platform.
The ESSO-LM client v188.8.131.52.1 fails to prompt new first time application users that have not yet created application credentials for the mainframe application. The users must manually create a credential in ESSO Logon Manager before they access the mainframe application because they are not prompted by the new logon wizard automatically to create the credentials for the application.
New users that attempt to access the mainframe application via Attachmate Extra! X-treme v9.3 for the first time, are not getting prompted to create new credentials with the New Logon Wizard. This gives the appearance that the ESSO-LM Client is failing to recognize and detect the application. If the users manually add a new credential in the Logon Manager dashboard on the desktop and then open the application, the logon form is detected and the credentials are injected successfully.
