Private IP for Managed Server Cause Console Activate Changes to Time Out (Doc ID 2211387.1)

Symptoms

Managed server's have reserved an IP which is private and is accessible only to the managed servers and not to the Adminserver (running on a separate host). If a custom channel is created with this Private IP and the channel is assigned as the Cluster broadcast channel for the Unicast cluster, Activate changes from WLS Admin console timeout.
