In Weblogic Server, there is a parameter that allows to start a lighter weight runtime instance of a Weblogic Server Managed node.

Property dservertype="wlx" can be used, and while starting, it will prevent WLS from excluding below services:

Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)

Java EE Connector Architecture (JCA)

Java Message Service (JMS)
