After upgrade to Java Adapter v12.2 Using Custom Formatter, EXT Abends With Unable to set property on handler 'ir1_nonrx'

Symptoms

I upgraded Goldengate from 11.2 to 12.2. After upgrade i am facing issues trying to bring up the JMS pumps. Below is the error i am facing while trying to startup.
