OBIEE Harvesting Via "Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Enterprise Edition" Native Bridge Hangs Without Errors (Doc ID 2213768.1)

On Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) 12.1.3 or later, the OBIEE importing via "Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Enterprise Edition" native bridge hangs without errors.

The bridge keeps running forever and the import never finishes.  Looking at the import log screen, there is no progress and no new log messages appended.

This is a sample for what could be the last entries in the import log:


As showed above, there are no errors, the import process just get stuck. The issue can happens on different stages, so the last entries in the log may be different from the above.
