Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g.

OVD diagnostic log shows the following warning message:

"GetBindDN: Missing join rule for adapter"

No functionality loss, but the message is logged continuously.

Example entry from the diagnostic log:

[octetstring] [WARNING] [OVD-40014] [com.octetstring.vde.join.ldap_join.JoinViewAdapter] [tid: 39] [ecid: <ECID>] [#ldap_join] GetBindDN: Missing join rule for adapter#ldap_join to adapter ldap_oid.
