X509 Authentication Fails After OAM Upgrade from 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.2.3 (Doc ID 2214929.1)

Symptoms

Following an OAM upgrade from 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.2.3 getting below errors in the logs while trying to login using x509Plugin:

<Warning> <oracle.oam.certvalidation> <OAMSSA-18006> <Error occurred when load trust store.
java.security.KeyStoreException: not found
at java.security.KeyStore.getInstance(KeyStore.java:628)
at oracle.security.fed.certvalidation.CertValidationModule.loadTrustStore(CertValidationModule.java:284)
...
Caused By: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: KeyStore not available
...

<Warning> <oracle.oam.certvalidation> <OAMSSA-18001> <Cert path validation failed. ...java.lang.NullPointerException: the keystore parameter must be non-null
at java.security.cert.PKIXParameters.<init>(PKIXParameters.java:145)
