Qn1:  
We are planning an activity to clear the Publishing History.

We have 2 options
  1. From Admin UI
  2. From Support Tools

a) Which one is recommended by Oracle?
b) If some things needs to be considered before doing it?
c) Are there any adverse effects of performing this activity?
 

Qn2:
If we want to take a back up, what all tables we need to take a back up of, before clearing the publish history.
Also is it possible to restore the publishing history from the above back up.

 
Qn3:
a) Deleting the Publishing History will be a manual and time intensive process.
    If we write query to delete the required rows in previously mentioned tables before a certain date. Will that work?
b) Basically what we want to know is if deleting Publishing History makes changes to any other table apart from below 3 tables.
