The BPM 12c Identity Browser cannot search external LDAP users by ID, only Embedded LDAP users are returned (Doc ID 2216620.1)

Symptoms

BPM has been configured to integrate with an external Active Directory but in BPM Workspace the Identity Browser cannot search external LDAP users by ID:

1. Searching external LDAP user account by FirstName works fine.
2. Searching external LDAP user account by ID doesn't work.
3. Searching by ID with empty string will only return users from Embeded LDAP.
