Requesting an Enhancement Request so that the outbound messages backed up due to outbound endpoint connection issues automatically go to the new port once the endpoint establishes connection on new port.
This is vital feature for some systems where the ports are held up and interfaces need to be configured over a new port to allow message flow.
As of now, the WIRE messages on the outbound are associated with the old transport details and if one choses not to store application message to enhance performance, one cannot resubmit either.
Sequence of Steps;
1) Messages are waiting to be sent to the downstream in the outbound due to connection issues.
2) We change the outbound Endpoint Transport details port to a new port.
3) The expectation is for all the 'backed up' messages for that endpoint automatically to go to the new port once connection is established.
