Unable To Change Password Through ESSO With Patch KB3167679 Installed (Doc ID 2219074.1)

Symptoms

ESSO Logon Manager version 11.1.2.2.0

There is something not allowing users to complete a password change in ESSO Logon Manager after the Microsoft Critical Security Patch KB3167679 is installed.  If the patch is not present, then change password request is completed over the failback of NTLM authentication successfully. 

ERROR

"The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security."

STEPS

  1. Install KB3167679
  2. Attempt to change windows password within the ESSO Kiosk Manager console.
