Goal

Questions:

1.  For JDK 7, -XX:+UseParallelGC sets parallel GC for the new generation.  If we specify -XX:+UseParallelGC, is XX:+UseParallelOldGC (parallel GC for old generation) specified automatically or do we need to specifically add that option?

2.  If we don't add the XX:+UseParallelOldGC, does the old generation use serial collector?
