Oracle Access Manage11g (OAM 220.127.116.11.5) - Intermittent Loss of Nearly Half of all Registered WebGates During Multi Data Center (MDC) Replication
Encountered an issue where the replication of a newly registered webgate from master to clone causes nearly half of all registered webgates to disappear on the clone side.
1. Before adding the new webgate, there were 131 registered webgates on both the master and clone admin servers.
2. Upon addition of the 132nd webgate (rreg) on the admin side, the oam-config.ref integer was incremented on the clone admin server, indicating that the new webgate had been replicated. However, there are now only 68 webgates on the clone side and the correct 132 on the master, for an overall discrepancy of 64 webgates
3. Removed the newly added webgate, waited for the change to replicate, checked again... All 131 webgates were present on both master and clone admin servers.
4. Re-ran the rreg command with the same input file that had caused an issue before. This time, everything worked and there are now 132 webgates on both the master and clone.
